SENSENICH CORPORATION PROPELLER INSTALLATION
This aircraft equipped with Franklin Model 644-165-B3 Engine and Sensenich Model M74DR fixed pitch metal propeller must be operated in compliance with the limitations prescribed herein.
- LIMITATIONS SECTION
- Same as prescribed in the Stinson 108-2 CAA Approved
Flight Manuals dated January 4, 1949, in the Stinson 108-3
landplane (skiplane) CAA Approved Airplane Flight
Manual dated December 29, 1948, and in the Stinson 108-3
seaplane CAA Approved Flight Manual dated December 28,
1948, except:
- PROPELLER:
- Fixed Pitch Metal
Make: Sensenich
Model: M74DR
Diameter: 74 inches max., 72.5 inches mm. Static RPM limits with maximum permissible throttle setting: 2500 max., 2300 mm. For the 108-3 airplane only1 the minimum static RPM shall be 2400.
NOTE: Avoid continuous operation between 2150 and 2250 RPM.
- PROCEDURES SECTION
Same as prescribed in the applicable CAA Approved Flight Manual as listed under paragraph "A" above.
- PERFORMANCE SECTION
Same as prescribed in the applicable CAA Approved Flight Manual as listed under paragraph "A" above, except:
- TAKE-OFF, CLIMB AND LANDING:
(d) Performance with the Sensenich M74DR is equal to or better than that demonstrated with a fixed pitch wood propeller.
