Penn Yan Aero SuperHawk 180 Horsepower STC

The Penn Yan Aero SuperHawkĘ STC is professionally engineered, FAA Approved, and includes full engine warranty. It allows for conversion of 1968 - 1986 172 Models I, K, L, M, N, and P with 150 or 160 horsepower, to 180 horsepower. This STC lets you increase the pleasure and value of your Cessna 172 with a stronger, more reliable, and safer engine. Some 172 owners think about trading up to a 182 to get better performance. However, upgrading your 172 with the Penn Yan Aero SuperHawk STC is a lot more cost effective. Your 172 will fly at higher speeds, have a faster climb rate, and have greater load carrying capability.
Penn Yan Aero has done thousands of these conversions to the delight and complete satisfaction of 172 owners worldwide. The SuperHawk kit is optionally approved and available for seaplane applications. There are two ways to get a Penn Yan Aero 180 SuperHawk into your 172: Option One, remanufacture and convert your 0-320 Lycoming engine to a Type Certified Lycoming 0-360-A4M SuperHawk specification engine, or Option Two, exchange your 0-320 Lycoming engine for a Factory new Lycoming 0-360-A4M SuperHawk specification engine.
