The Cessna 172 STC is the simplest of the Sensenich STC's. This is a direct replacement for the original propeller with no spinner change. Sensenich has used the same airfoil for this propeller as used in the highly sucessful Cessna 152 propeller. This STC is available for the 150 and 160 HP Lycoming engines. The propeller is also available in a wide variety of pitches (56 to 62) to customize it for your exact requirements.
