BACKGROUND:

The TB-9 Tampico has always used the Sensenich 74DM6S8-0-54 propeller. Several customers came to Sensenich inquiring about the possibility of a higher pitch (cruise) propeller being available. We noticed in the Type Certificate sheets that a '61' pitch could be used with proper wheel pants. Other then that, no other pitch was approved. With this STC, any TB-9 propeller can be pitched between 54 and 61 for better cruise performance.
