4 Blade NGR Series

The NGR Series is considered by most to be the best automotive/aircraft with reduction style prop on the market and was originally introduced as the “Next Generation” to the original R series blade model. It features advances in laminate technology, swept blade shape, integrated tip winglet and Sensenich’s exclusive I-Beam construction.  The combination of our airfoil and winglet technology helps to minimize the tip vortices that cause drag and reduce propeller performance. This enables us to force the thrust line farther down the blade and take Airboat propeller performance to it’s highest level.  The tip winglet also helps decrease the sound signature of the propeller while increasing the propeller loading factor for improved overall thrust performance. Today, many NGR series blades are built mostly as replacements for customers that do not want to upgrade to a newer design or that have an older Powershift / Water Walker hub and just need a set of blades to get them back on the lake.

Sensenich’s “NGR” Series composite ground adjustable propeller is designed to have the best characteristics of hunt style propeller along with reduced sound and increased fuel economy.  This propeller system will produce a tremendous amount of low end push and will be available on all automotive and aircraft engines using reduction units.

The 4 Blade NGR Series is perfect for 8 & 10 cylinder engines producing 500 – 1000+ HP with reduction ratios of 2.0 and higher.

All Sensenich composite ground adjustable blades are manufactured using an internal pressure, closed mold system. Aerospace grade epoxy pre-impregnated composite materials are cured at an elevated temperature to give the optimum strength at the minimum weight. A co-cured stainless metal leading edge is bonded on flush with the airfoil. The stylish aluminum hubs are CNC manufactured from aerospace grade aluminum and offer easy pitch adjustment of the blades.

The NGR series blade is only available for use in Legacy 3 ring style hubs.

The NGR series blade length is 1 inch shorter than the original 79R series, so overall prop diameter will decrease by 2 inches when used in the same hub size.
